I have lived in Westchester County all of my life. I grew up in Yonkers and have lived in the communities of Fleetwood, Tarrytown and Ossining. Eventually I settled in Somers with my husband Bill and our two English Springer Spaniels Lucy and Ellie.
I decided to pursue my dream of being a Real Estate Agent when I left the corporate world of IBM (Project Manager) and Union Carbide (Purchasing/Contract Negotiator). Furthermore I have been able to incorporate my considerable Design (Fashion Insitute of Technology - Design & Fashion Merchandising) and Business Education (SUNY Buffalo - Bachelor of Science - Business) into my business, and became also an Home Staging Professional (Accredited Staging Professional) to enable me to offer my seller clients a one stop home marketing experience allowing them to sell their properties faster and for more money. My hobby as an Amateur Photographer completes and even further enhances my real estate marketing activities. I also work with Pet Rescue Groups. My enthusiasm is endless and very evident in how I work with my clients. Please never hesitate to contact me for information and your questions and concerns regarding buying or selling real estate in Somers and the surrounding areas. I am here to help.

Working with Pet Rescue Groups

One of my loves is being involved with several Pet Rescue Groups. One of them is the Larchmont Pet Rescue Group.
I am also working with the New England English Springer Rescue Group where I help with transports, screening potential adoptees and my favorite part, fostering rescues prior to each dog being adopted.
Recently I was certified for Westchester's Disaster Animal Response Team (DART), which was organized as a result of Hurricane Katrina. As people were evacuated, they were told they could not bring their pets along, as they could not be accomodated in the shelters. 60% of pet owners would not evacuate without their pets. Others reluctantly left their pets behind. Finally their was an outpouring of help by trained personel (vets, vet techs, trainers, pet organizations) who flew to New orleans to organize a massive pet rescue effort. DART team members from all over the US are now deployed to deal with such situations.
